About our Summer Schools Cambridge Colleges Each day of your summer school, our AROs organise guided visit to 1-2 of Cambridge’s 31 renowned colleges. Each college varies in size, location, and architectural style—ranging from historic to more modern designs—offering a diverse glimpse into the unique character of each college. This experience is invaluable for those considering an application, as it provides a firsthand look at the different colleges, helping you make more informed and personalised decisions about where you might want to study. Evening Activities With the sun setting well past 9pm in summery Cambridge, our AROs lead a variety of active and fun evening activities to keep the excitement going. Enjoy a classic punting trip on the River Cam, or get to know your fellow summer school students better through games of football or croquet on Parker’s Piece. Take part in a thrilling scavenger hunt, or put your detective skills to the test in a Cambridge-themed murder mystery. These engaging activities are designed for everyone to participate, and you’re encouraged to bring your own ideas for even more fun! University Visits Trips to other top universities: UCL, LSE, and Imperial College, allow you to explore the diverse campus environments that the UK has to offer. Outdoor Team-buildings The outdoor team-building adventure day is designed to push you beyond your comfort zone, create unforgettable memories, and foster strong bonds with your fellow students. Try coening, and see which team comes out on top—if you manage to stay dry, you might even dare to take the plunge and jump into the river!     UK Scholarships 2025 We are offering a limited number of UK Scholarships for the 2025 Summer School . The scholarships are for 15-17 year old students in the UK. Our courses are equivalent to first year undergraduate level, and you will be taught by lecturers and PhD researchers from the University of Cambridge. This Scholarship does not include day trips, food and accommodation. Students will be required to organize their own transportation, to and from classes.   • Pastoral Care | Cambridge International Academy

    Your family in Cambridge Safety first A 10pm curfew is set for students under 18, after which they may not leave their rooms. Female and male students are housed separately. Trained staff All staff are qualified and have undergone ‘Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service’ checks to ensure that they can work with under 18 year olds. Daily activities Alongside classes, daily briefings and activities allow the groups to get to know each other in a relaxed, sociable environment. Activities and Residential Officer Our personnel are always there to support and listen. A group of 12 students maximum are assigned per mentor. Expert teaching You will be taught by lecturers and researchers from the University of Cambridge. Friends for life An opportunity to meet like-minded students from around the world and make life-long friends. FOOD AND ACCOMODATION Two students share a room with an en-suite bathroom in a Cambridge college’s residential building. This is where Cambridge students live during term-time. These rooms are secure and located within the College grounds (protected 24/7 by the Porters in the Porters’ Lodge). All courses include three meals a day. All meals are provided by the College’s self-service student cafeteria. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served with a range of hot dishes.
